The Digital World

There are countless Digital Worlds throughout the multi-verse, themselves shaped by information and emotions generated by the inhabitants of that world. The Digital World of the Digital Dive universe, however, was born from data and emotional power gathered from many universes, thereby linking it to multiple worlds instead of just one. The Digital World is presided over by Yggdrasil, a sentient computer that controls the very fabric of reality inside the Digital World. It is he that has summoned Tamers from throughout the multi-verse for the sake of his experiment to see whether the Digital World can be saved, or fall to the Demon Kings.

The Digital World itself has its own concept of time, and thus, has its own history going back centuries. In actuality, the current Digital World is actually the second, with the first having been destroyed by a phenomenon called the Digital Hazard. Now, in this new Digital World, Yggdrasil and the Demon Kings both go about their respective plans, hoping to use Tamers to accomplish their respective goals. Caught in the middle of it all are the Digimon themselves, who all have individual hopes, dreams, and goals – but most of all, a desire to keep on living. These digimon all belong to and form different cultures, which are listed here, below.

To begin, the Digital World is comprised primarily of three continents, named after the personality components of Yggdrasil itself: Urd, Skuld, and Verdandi. These continents are further broken down into smaller territories called “Areas”, which are presided over by an Ultimate digimon called an Area Leader. Each Area Leader in turn has subordinates referred to as an Area General. It is the purpose of an Area Leader to rule over their respective lands and keep the peace there.

To know more about specific Areas and what each respective one is like, read on.

Note: One cannot breach the Digital World's atmosphere, and there exists no "space" beyond the Digital World's three moons: The Ophanimoon, the Seraphimoon, and the Cherubimoon. At this time, they cannot be reached.

The Digital World's "sun" is more a function of the Digital World itself, behaving like a real life giving star without actually being a tangible, reachable object.

Urd

Urd is the easternmost continent of the Digital World, and the largest landmass. It consists of several large areas named D'Ango Forest, Goc Desert, Dokako Jungle, and the floating island known as Tetha. Most of this area is wilderness, save for the city on Tetha, and the compromised but currently-being-restructured fortress known as the Royal Base, whose territory lies between the Dokako Jungle and D'Ango Forest. However, a number of towns and farmlands dot the D'Ango Forest, especially around rivers, and Dokako is home to several indigenous tribes of digimon and multiple Insect digimon colonies.

Tetha - (p. “tehth-uh”)

The floating island west of Urd's coast, floating just over the Net Ocean. However, wind currents often carry it back and forth, so it can be seen hovering over the western areas of D'Ango Forest during some parts of the year. Despite its tendency to drift, Tetha is a relatively stable land mass, and suffers no ill-effects from being high in the air beyond the occasional fierce storm. Though there is a large field on the western side of the island, the majority of Tetha is comprised of by a city.

The city itself is fairly modern, mixing styles of construction similar to that of New England and parts of Europe. Though Tetha was originally home to only “Wind Guardian” digimon, it has since been influenced by both digimon from other areas as well as Tamers from various worlds. Thus, while most Bird-species digimon prefer high-up roosts, a majority of the buildings here are simple ground-level houses. Nevertheless, Tetha's past is still evident, and there are still quite a few tall “bird houses” left to be found there.

Recently, Tetha was the center of a great conflict, which ultimately brought war to the island. It began with the death of the original Area Leader, Hououmon, who was permanently deleted by the mad tamer known as Kurata Akihiro. In the aftermath, Yatagaramon, one of Hououmon's subordinates, ascended to take his place as Ravemon. Unbeknown to anyone else, Ravemon had received the Demon Seal of Pride, and aimed to turn Tetha into a military force that could dominate the land below. Ultimately, he was challenged by an alliance of Tamers and Digimon from D'Ango, Sanctity, and Axoryi, only for Ravemon to fall to Lucemon's own machinations – everything in Tetha had been engineered to create enough suffering and evil to reawaken a piece of a digimon called Ogudamon that had been sealed beneath the island. Ravemon was killed, and though Lucemon escaped with his prize, peace has returned to Tetha, with Chief Owlmon, the only surviving member of Tetha's administration, serving as the coalition's chief authority there.

Tetha has free housing for newly arrived Tamers who cannot find lodging by other means.

Digimon you might meet here: Muchomon, Hawkmon, Piyomon, Falcomon (both varieties), Peckmon, Aquilamon, Birdramon, Harpymon, Fairymon, and any Bird-species or member of the Wind Guardians family up to the Perfect level.

  • Ravemon's Fortress – The fortress constructed by Ravemon, from which he plotted the conquest of the Digital World. It is located at a place once referred to as “Hououmon's Roost”, which was where Hououmon lived before Ravemon built his fortress over it. Since Ravemon's death, it has been abandoned.

  • Tetha Constabulary – The base for Tetha's vaunted “Peckmon Police Force”, and the current seat of government. Once an oppressive organization, since being put in charge, Chief Owlmon has worked many a night and sleepless day to reform it. Many of Ravemon's supporters have been removed, and is now considered to be an upstanding organization. The trust of the citizens may not be so easy to regain, however.

  • Ventus Square – The commercial district of Tetha. Here, many street-side shops and established businesses can be found. Notable locations in Ventus Square include:

    - Wizardmon and Sorcermon's One Stop Shop of Magical Convenience: A strange shop set up by two digimon from the sub-dimension of Witchelny. They claim to be willing to provide “one plot device per tamer”, though this offer is subject to negotiation. A Witchmon is also associated with this location, and these digimon have a relatively strong history of helping (and pranking) efforts to improve the security of the Digital World. [If you wish to have a character speak to these characters and need help getting ahold of them for their services, please message [personal profile] razorsaw for Sorcermon and Wizardmon or [personal profile] mugennoken for Witchmon (depending upon your preference) in order to discuss the matter.]

    - Ocean Love Eatery: A well known restaurant in the center of Tetha run by an old but friendly digimon named MarineAngemon. This restaurant claims to “bring smiles to all who eat here.” It is relatively up-scale in terms of quality, but as it's practically an institution, it does not need to worry about competition and can thus set its price to be affordable. [feel free to use this setting for private threads without contacting a mod, but if you desire contact with MarineAngemon himself, please contact a moderator. Do NOT cause havoc here without getting permission from a moderator first.]

    - Other Businesses: Muchomon shops, Tim Holsmon's Restaurant Chains, Burgermon restaurants

  • Phoenix Colosseum – The stadium where Tetha's most popular sport, Windball, is played, and home to the professional team known as the Tetha Tornadoes. Other sporting events are held here, and it can be contracted for such events or things such as musical concerts. Phoenix Colosseum also has a gym located near it run by the same management, providing exercise opportunities for both Digimon and Tamers. [if you wish to have a character contract Phoenix Colosseum for an event, please contact a moderator. The gym is free to be portrayed in RP without contacting anyone, but do not cause havoc here without getting permission from a moderator first.]

  • Tetha Park – A scenic park in the middle of the city. A popular spot for both tourists and people who live in Tetha, with a small artificial lake at the center of it. There are also transplanted trees, forming a small “forest” that resembles parts of D'Ango. There are also numerous water fountains, and a play area for children and Baby digimon based upon a tree house. Tetha's Primary Village is located adjacent to the park. Tetha's Primary Village is presided over by Swanmon, and a number of Piyomon nursemaids. [Incidents may occur in the park itself, but do not cause trouble in the Primary Village without mod permission. Additionally, if your character's partner was a Bird-species or related digimon beforehand, or is going to be reborn into one, and your character has lost their egg, they will be reborn at this location.]

  • Hououmon Memorial Hospital – Once referred to as simply “Tetha Hospital”, it was renamed in honor of Hououmon in light of recent events. It's an advanced hospital, capable of treating humans, and and due to the advancement of existing digimon medical technology, medical matters can be healed more quickly (but not instantly, and it depends on the nature of the problem) than they would in most other worlds. The chief physician here is Doctor Byrd Cocks, an Akatorimon. The noted mental health specialist, Dr. Biggens Peckers the Peckmon, also has an office here.

  • Ruins – The remains of old Tetha, where a statue of Hououmon rests. Strange murals connected to the Origin of the Digital world can be found here. Parts of the ruins also lead into the Tetha Sewers, which are fairly vast and have secret entrances to parts of the Tetha city.

  • Field – The Fields outside of Tetha, a common rest stop for the city's air patrollers. Note that there is a small indigenous population of Diatrymon here, and that they can be dangerous if approached incorrectly.

    Notable Tetha Individuals:

  • Chief Owlmon – The chosen representative and highest ranking official in Tetha's current government, and the only survivor of the previous administration. Though Chief Owlmon is only an Adult-level digimon, he wields a surprising amount of power for his size and has authority relatively equal to that of an Area Leader, but only within Tetha's boundaries itself. He is currently working to reform the system Ravemon left behind while keep the people of Tetha safe while working to prove himself as a leader. Normally, during the day, Chief Owlmon is asleep, but due to recent events, he has been forced to remain awake most of the day and night. While this has led to some fatigue, Chief Owlmon has proven to be shockingly up to the task.

  • Ravemon – The second Area Leader of Tetha, who attempted to turn Tetha into a military state and conquer the rest of the Digital World with aerial superiority. Once Yatagaramon, he was the commander of Tetha's Air Force, which was dissolved upon Ravemon's death and absorbed into the Tetha Constabulary. His actions were born out of a deep hatred for Dark-species digimon and the ones who allowed them to thrive. Ironically, in his pursuit of power, he resorted to consorting with them, thinking he could use the strength given to him by Lucemon's Demon Seal against the Demon King. Ultimately, Ravemon is remembered as a vicious tyrant at worst, and a tragically misguided radical at best.

  • Hououmon – The first Area Leader of Tetha and once a survivor of the Old Digital World. He was tragically killed by Kurata Akihiro and his creation, Gizmon, which had the ability to permanently delete a digimon. In contrast to Ravemon, Hououmon was noted as being kind and beloved by all who lived in Tetha. He also knew many secrets, which he tragically took with him to the grave.

  • (Former) Chief HippoGryphomon – The Chief of the Tetha Constabulary prior to being assassinated as part of Ravemon's machinations. His reborn Digi-Egg has since been identified, but he has no memories of his former life.

  • MarineAngemon – The proprietor and manager of the Ocean Love Eatery, as well as the President of the Tetha Merchant's Association. He is a cheerful and friendly digimon who loves to see others smile (though his hardened, raspy voice gives another impression). Just what an Ultimate level digimon (which are exceedingly rare) is doing running a restaurant in Tetha is a mystery.

    D'Ango Forest - (p. “Deh-an-goh”)

The largest Area in Urd, D'Ango Forest covers most of the northern half of the continent. It borders Dokako Jungle and the Saber Mountains, the latter of which separates it from the harsh and arid Goc Desert. All throughout the D'Ango Forest, the climate is temperate. The one exception would be the north, where it is somewhat colder, and the edge close to the Saber Mountains. These areas have a climate and topography that can be compared to the Pacific Northwest, while the majority of D'Ango is more similar to that of North America's forested Mid-West or New England.

That is to say, D'Ango is not purely a sea of trees, though that does describe the majority of the territory. There are a number of wide open fields and plains, as well as numerous rivers that run through them. The most famous is the Code Stream, a long river that cuts through most of D'Ango Forest. There are also some settlements here, but none are as large as the cities you'd find in other parts of the Digital World. These settlements are largely farming communities, and provide much of the Digital World with food through trade.

That said, outside of these settlements, D'Ango is a wild and untamed wilderness. Many digimon who live outside of cities succumb to their base instincts, becoming like unto wild animals. Others retain their intelligence, forming bands that struggle with other digimon for territory. Some who venture into the trees end up never returning. Those who venture into these areas of D'Ango are advised to show caution.

Digimon you might meet here: Gabumon, Gaomon, Bearmon, Labramon, Mikemon, Tailmon, Plotmon, Grizzmon, MoriShellmon, Leomon, J-Mojamon, Garurumon, Goatmon, Moosemon, WereGarurumon, Cerberumon, or any Beast-Species or members of the Nature Spirits digimon family up to the Perfect level. Bird and Insect species are also common here.

  • Sirius Village – The largest of the settlements in D'Ango. It's protected by MachGaogamon, one of SaberLeomon's Area Generals. In terms of technological advancement, it has the most out of any of D'Ango's cities. The city is adjacent the Code Stream, and much of its livelihood is derived from the river and surrounding farmlands. The Primary Village for Beast-type digimon is located here, and it is presided over by a digimon called Seasarmon. [Please do not cause trouble in the Primary Village without mod permission. Additionally, if your character's partner was a Beast-species or related digimon beforehand, or is going to be reborn into one, and your character has lost their egg, they will be reborn at this location.] Sirius Village is also the home of D'Ango's Windball Team, the D'Ango Dynamos.

  • Treefort – A city in the norther area of D'Ango Forest, built entirely in the giant trees growing in this area. A recently constructed settlement, it has nonetheless quickly prospered, and thrives by harvesting the various goods that grow from the trees here. These goods are shipped throughout the digital world by way of Lightpost or Pteranomon delivery. The streets in this city are all massive walkways between one tree to the next, and buildings are the insides of the trees themselves, with its occupants having a stable relationship with the plant that does not cause it to die. GrappLeomon is the Area General in charge of this city.

  • Code Stream – The longest river in D'Ango Forest, running from the northwest corner of the area into the south until it finally reaches the Net Ocean. Many of D'Ango's farming communities depend upon the Code Stream to sustain themselves. There is a popular folk legend stating that if you and a partner fall into the Code Stream, you'll both end up falling in love.

  • Saber Mountains – A mountain range that forms the Western border of D'Ango, separating it from Goc Desert. While D'Ango is a thriving wilderness, the Saber Mountains are a rocky, harsh area where food is scarce. Many individuals have taken to concealing themselves and their ambitions here. There is also a community of LoaderLeomon that run a mine in this area, gathering Chron Digizoid from far beneath the surface. Saber Leomon keeps his base on the tallest mountain, which is called Mount Leo, and despite being a generally good tempered Area Leader, he fiercely protects it from outsiders.

  • Toucan Bros. Hot Springs – A large hot spring resort located at the foot of the Saber Mountains, run by a group of Toucanmon Bros. It's a popular resort for relaxation, and they don't ask questions as to the clientele. [feel free to use this setting for private threads without contacting a mod, but if you desire contact with the Toucanmon Bros. themelves, please contact a moderator. Do NOT cause havoc here without getting permission from a moderator first.]

    Notable D'Ango Individuals:

  • SaberLeomon – The Area Leader of D'Ango Forest. A powerful, fierce digimon, he is said to have once served a great military commander in the past. Today, he rules D'Ango from Mount Leo, communicating often but choosing to delegate control of most decisions to his subordinates. When he does step into battle however, it is usually enough to turn the tide in favor of whomever he is supporting. SaberLeomon has cheated death many times, and most recently joined the coalition to free Tetha from Ravemon's control.

  • MachGaogamon – One of SaberLeomon's Area Generals. A swift digimon, he's also a noted athlete in addition to being a strong fighter. He plays for the D'Ango Dynamos, a racer, and oversees Sirius Village. He is also a noted womonizer, and has his own squad of specially trained Gaogamon and Garurumon to back him up.

  • GrappLeomon – One of SaberLeomon's Area Generals. GrappLeomon can best be described as hot blooded, and is one of the Digital World's best martial artists. He is known to teach combat to others, but not before they prove themselves. He oversees Treefort. [If you would like to train with GrappLeomon, please contact [personal profile] razorsaw to set something up.]

    Dokako Jungle(p. “Doh-kaw-koh”)

The second largest area in Urd, Dokako Jungle covers most of the southern area of the continent. It is covered almost entirely by tropical jungle, from the border of D'Ango to the southern shores of Urd. Those areas that don't fit this description are like unto an African Savannah, in that they are hot, wide-open subtropical plains. As far as climate goes, the climate is always tropical, with frequent rainstorms.

As far as the deepest jungles of Dokako Jungle go, the digimon there are primarily wild and untamed. Most digimon here are wild ones that have succumbed to their basic instincts. Those that aren't are territorial bands that spurn outsiders. The most common digimon who live here are Plant, Insect, Reptile, and Dinosaur-species digimon. The most common hazard is to wander into the territory of an Insect digimon hive, where you will often find yourself swarmed before it is possible to escape.

However, there are parts of Dokako that are comparatively nice to stay in, with quite a few settlements that enjoy the tropical weather. Most of these are found along the coast, and have a culture similar to that of Okinawa, Japan, and Hawaii. Others, like the Flower Paradise, a modest-sized settlement comprised primarily of Plant-species digimon. They welcome outsiders, and run a pleasure-themed resort there. Furthermore, some of the Savannahs, especially those inhabited by Beast digimon, are relatively peaceful.

Dokako Jungle is the site of a Primary Village, located in the Flower Paradise, and is looked after by a digimon known as Butterflymon. [Please do not cause trouble in the Primary Village without mod permission. Additionally, if your character's partner was an Insect or Plant-species or related digimon beforehand, or is going to be reborn into one, and your character has lost their egg, they will be reborn at this location.]

Digimon you might meet here: Palmon, Alraumon, Floramon, Kiwimon, Sunflowmon, Koemon, Gorimon, Tyrannomon, Allomon, Blossomon, Kunemon, Wormmon, Stingmon, Tentomon, Kuwagamon, Flymon, FlyBeemon, Dokugumon, Oukuwamon, Triceramon, AtlurKabuterimon, Parrotmon, and any Plant or Insect-species digimon, as well as most Dinosaur or tropical-themed digimon.

    Royal Base

An area located literally on the border between Dokako Jungle and D'Ango Forest, populated entirely by Digimon of the “Beemon” variety. The Royal Base is an advanced military installation from which Beemon launch, traveling all over the world to gather information. In times of trouble, they are known to come to people's aid, even if it means going against groups like the Virus Busters or Dark Area. Aside from that, worker Beemon that do not fight or scout maintain the legendary “Honey Fields”, which produces what is widely regarded to be the tastiest Digi-Honey in the Digital World. They also served as benefactors to DATS, allowing them the use of their facilities in order to help their mission of keeping the peace.

Unfortunately, this led to disaster, and as a result of Ravemon's machinations, the Royal Base itself was destroyed. Furthermore, TigerVespamon, the Base's area leader, was mortally wounded covering his charges' escape and was unable to save the Royal Base itself. Since then, DATS has relocated to Sanctity, and the Royal Base's denizens have undergone the slow process of rebuilding. They are as dedicated to their mission as ever – in fact, possibly even more so.

    Goc Desert - (p. “gawk”)

A vast desert west of the Saber Mountains and D'Ango Forest. Virtually a sea of sand, only those who brave the harshest of conditions can survive here. No particular type of digimon is dominant here, and what digimon are found can be best described as an eclectic mix. The most common sights, however, are Togemon, Yanmamon, and SandYanmamon, which are some of the few Digimon to actually thrive here. For visitors, what areas of Goc Desert are hospitable depends really upon where you go, as most towns can be filled with either determined homesteaders or dangerous outlaws. What settlements there are small towns, but there are bandit groups that spring up in the dried up canyons. There is also a recently established refinery for mining and processing Digi-Fuel, and an artificially constructed resort near the coast.

Digimon you might meet here: Yanmamon, SandYanmamon, Togemon, Ponchomon, Guilmon, Agumon, Tyrannomon, Growmon, Greymon, Revolmon, Drimogemon, Dragon-species digimon, or any other digimon with a “western movie” or middle eastern motif up to the Perfect level. Variety is of course, also present.

    Draco Island Crater

The former location of Draco Island, which was once the home of the largest population of Dragon and Dinosaur digimon in the Digital World. Once, the sword of a legendary digimon known as Imperialdramon sat, sheathed here, containing a power and a force that was meant never to be released. However, once that sword was drawn, that same terrible power was released, leading to an unprecedented disaster. The digimon known as Chaosmon reawakened, and before being destroyed, nearly caused a second Digital Hazard. Unfortunately, in the process of reviving, he absorbed all of Draco Island, a portion of its population, and one of its two Area Leaders, Breakdramon. All that remains of Draco Island is now an enormous crater in the middle of the Net Ocean, and a painful reminder of what once was.

    Skuld

The southernmost continent of the Digital World, known as “the land of darkness” due to the fact that it is known for a large population of Demonic or darkness-related digimon species. These digimon gathered into an army known as the Dark Area, establishing territory over much of the continent and becoming one of the most powerful forces in the Digital World. For many years, they battled with the Virus Busters, who saw them as a threat. This resulted in the majority of Skuld becoming a desolate wasteland, spilling out beyond the Dark Area's borders and to the rest of the continent. However, after the recent “Chaosmon Event”, Omegamon of the Virus Busters has taken advantage of the effects on the Digital World to conquer much of the continent, forever changing the balance of power here.

    Poyi Mountans - (p.”poh-yee”)

A mountain range located on the eastern peninsula of Skuld Continent. Among the territories in Skuld, it is the only one that is relatively peaceful and free of the strife caused by the Dark Area and Virus Busters. However, it is also very remote and difficult to traverse, even when using lightposts. The peaks are taller even than the ones in the Saber Mountains, and are covered in a dense fog. Many digimon who live here are either miners, harvesting raw digizoid metal, digimon who lead a rustic or spiritual existence, or wild digimon that have succumbed to their instincts. What settlements there are are too small to be called towns or villages, and the largest of them is a small gathering of digital “monks” who train under the Area Leader Karatenmon, who despite only being a Perfect, commands great insight and intelligence. The tallest mountain in Poyi is also the tallest mountain in the Digital World: Infinity Mountain, which has a strange barrier that keeps mountain climbers from reaching its peak.

Because of the chaos in Skuld, it was decided to move the Primary Village to a remote mountain here. It is watched over by a digimon named Pipismon. [Please do not cause trouble in the Primary Village without mod permission. Additionally, if your character's partner was a Demonic or related digimon beforehand, or is going to be reborn into one, and your character has lost their egg, they will be reborn at this location.]

Digimon you might meet here: Shamamon, Goblimon, Hanumon, Gotsumon, Golemon, or any Digimon with a spiritual motif or of the Mineral type up to the Perfect level.

    Graveyard

In actuality, the area known as the “Graveyard” is part of the greater Dark Area, but even among the Dark Area soldiers and the zealous Virus Busters, it is not actually policed heavily by any one power. That's because the Graveyard is, quite literally, one of the most terrifying places in the Digital World. Not only is it swarming with Undead digimon, the Graveyard is eternally cloaked in night and host to zones of corrupted data that can cause digimon to become ill or even spontaneously delete, never re-emerging as a Digi-Egg. There is some speculation that any digimon killed this way is reborn as an Undead digimon here later. The Graveyard also contains multiple ruins from an unidentified civilization, and the Graveyard's nature keeps many from exploring them to learn more. The Area Leader here is Pharaohmon, but he is enigmatic and has no connection to the Digital World's powers that be, seen only on rare occasions leading bizarre rituals among the ruins. For a time, the rebels leading the Civil War against the Dark Area used the Graveyard to hide out from their enemies, but since the Chaosmon Event, they have been scattered and no longer do so. For many Digital World organizations, the Graveyard is firmly labeled as a “hazard zone.”

Digimon you might meet here: Dracumon, Tsukaimon, Bakemon, Soulmon, Raremon, Phantomon, Mummymon, or any digimon of the Undead or Ghost-type up to the Perfect level. Digimon of the Nightmare Soldiers family are also common.

    Dead Zone

The Dead Zone has a storied history. In the Western area of Skuld, between the Graveyard and Dark Area, it is a small Area perpetually covered in a noxious gas. This gas has made life difficult for digimon living here for centuries. As a result, digimon who live here suffered from short life spans and malnutrition, due to the fact that nothing could grow here. As a result, many digimon of the Dead Zone fled, and those that did not became raiders and thieves, or slavers. For much of this time, the area was ruled over by Murmuxmon, who was in fact the transformed version of Seraphimon, one of the three Great Angels. [for more information, please see the section on Sanctity under the Verdandi continent.]

That all changed in recent times, when Murmuxmon was betrayed to the Dark Area by his lieutenant, Phelesmon. Murmuxmon was driven out, and all government in the area collapsed. The Dead Zone became part of the Dark Area, with Murmuxmon's castle being abandoned and small prison camps being set up across the area using the slave population. An independent Tamer named Bowser set up base in Murmuxmon's castle, while the main prison camp was eventually located and dismantled by DATS, with many of the escaped slaves joining the Dark Area rebels. Since then, the poisonous mist has become to steadily dissipate, for reasons that are unable to be determined.

Since the Chaosmon event, the Dark Area has all been run out here, and life has not improved for the people of the Dead Zone at all. The slavers and raiders which once had power now live in fear of reprisal from the Virus Busters, and the Dark Area soldiers try either to hold their positions or use the area to hide. Bowser has also expanded his power base, standing up to the Virus Busters while also spreading the Dead Zone's borders further south, bringing parts of the fractured Dark Area under his influence.

Digimon you might meet here: PicoDevimon, Impmon, Goblimon, Tsukaimon, Devimon, Boogeymon, BlackTailmon, BlackGarurumon, BlackGrowmon, LadyDevimon, Ogremon, Fuugamon, Wendimon, Pumpmon, or any digimon from the Nightmare Soldiers or Dark Area families up to the Perfect level.

ADDENDUM: With the Virus Busters having invaded, any digimon known to be from that Area is a potential encounter in both the Dead Zone and the Dark Area.

    Dark Area

For centuries, the Dark Area has been one of the most feared civilizations in the Digital World. This reputation is not entirely undeserved, but they are not this way due to the so-called innate “evil” of the digimon living there. Rather, the prejudice leveled against them and hatred of groups like the Virus Busters has effectively driven them to become the very monsters those same groups feared. In defending themselves, the Dark Area became militaristic and vicious, and eventually became convinced that to survive, they would have to destroy or conquer everyone else.

In its heyday, the Dark Area controlled most of the southern half of the Skuld Continent, with their militaristic designs eventually turning their land into a wasteland. With society concentrated entirely around military bases and the area's Dark Capital, it a black, empty land dotted by settlements whose only purpose was to help drive the war. And for years upon years, their battle with the Dark Area served as a stalemate, with neither side gaining the upper hand over the other.

    Then that all changed.

It began with the civil war, led by a digimon named Matadormon, who sought to change the Dark Area from the bleak autocracy into a more free area, in hopes that they could put aside their hatred of other digimon and work towards repairing their homeland. This threw the Dark Area into even greater chaos as the movement grew, with numerous members of the Dark Area army going over to Matadormon's ideals. Rather than bring about change, it locked both sides into yet another stalemate, this time between one another. This left the Dark Area vulnerable when Omegamon chose to take advantage of the Chaosmon event, and led an attack on the Dark Area. Omegamon personally razed the Dark Capital himself while his troops broke through from the North, and within a month's time, they took much of the Dark Area's territory.

Now, the Dark Area's future is uncertain. The Civil War has all but ended, with the remaining forces struggling to hold back an ever encroaching Virus Busters army. Diablomon has been missing since Omegamon attacked the city, and those that remain have rallied under his Area General Mephismon, who finds himself struggling to fight what may be a hopeless battle.

Digimon you might meet here: Commandramon, Troopmon, Keramon, Chrysalimon, PicoDevimon, Impmon, Devimon, BlackTailmon, Boogeymon, LadyDevimon, Bakemon, Wendimon, Ogremon, Fuugamon, Phantomon, Mummymon, any digimon from the Nightmare Soldiers or Dark Area families, and any digimon of the Ghost, Undead, Fallen Angel, Ogre, or Demon Man classification, up to the Perfect level.

    Verdandi

The westernmost continent of the Digital World. In contrast to Urd, which is mostly wilderness, most parts of Verdandi consist of large, advanced and modern cities. The most notable is Neon City and its counterpart Junk City, which covers the majority of the Southern half of the continent, while to the north lies the “Holy City” of Sanctity. In addition, off the northwest coast of Verdandi one can find the floating city of Axoryi. However, there are some parts of Verdandi that exist in stark contrast to the rest: the Putrid Ruins, the sunken city submerged into a vast swamp that lies east of Sanctity, and Albion, which is sandwiched between Neon City and the northern territories. Albion is a land out of time, and seems anachronistic in comparison to its neighbors, but nonetheless is well populated and settled. Finally, off the southeastern coast of Verdandi, there is Asuka, whose culture is similar to that of Feudal Japan.

    Neon City / Junk City

If you mistook Neon City and Junk City for two different territories, you'd be wrong, but it would still be easy to see how you made that distinction. Split cleanly between one side and the other, Junk and Neon City are two sides of the same coin.

Junk City is named for the fact that it is virtually an enormous scrapyard, with all buildings literally made out of technological refuse. Even the refinery plants that are built here are in some ways processed out of scrap, and that scrap is in turn harvested and recycled to make new weapons and building material. In turn, this inevitably leads to more scrap, which feeds the ever constant recycling that goes on here. However, the denizens of Junk City are poor. The refineries and recycling plants are all owned by contractors from Neon City and beyond, meaning none of the prosperity that comes from their work ends up coming to benefit them. Furthermore, Junk City is a haven for outlaws and n'er-do-wells, who use the sea of junk and the tunnels beneath the city to evade capture from law enforcement.

Inversely, Neon City is, at a glance, a more vibrant place filled with wonder and splendor. Neon City is on the cusp of technological advancement, and is filled with all manner of modern and futuristic technology. Businesses thrive here, and it's also a mecca for culture and entertainment. Most of the Digital World's stars of stage and screen live here, as do most of the businessmon prominent in the corporate world. If one could compare it to the human world, you might say that Neon City resembles a fusion of Tokyo, Los Angles, Las Vegas, and New York City. However, this shiny surface hides the ugliness beneath – Neon City is just as filled with crime and corruption as Junk, merely hidden behind a veil of benevolence.

In terms of population, the majority of Junk's populace is comprised of Machine, Puppet, and Mutant-species digimon, many of which work in the refineries and feed upon the metal as a form of sustenance. Neon itself has a more diverse community, comprised of all kinds of digimon from all over the Digital World, though Machine digimon are still present in healthy numbers. Both cities are home to large numbers of Beast digimon who have a superficial resemblance to vermin, such as Chumon and Gazimon, as well.

Digimon you might meet here: Hagurumon, Kokuwamon, ToyAgumon, ClearAgumon, Chuumon, Gazimon, Guardromon, Garbamon, MechaNorimon, Commandramon, Sealsdramon, Clockmon, Andromon, or any Machine or Mutant-species digimon up to the Perfect level. Furthermore, all varieties of digimon are just as likely.

  • Foundry Factory (Junk City) – The largest production plant in Junk City; it collects scrap, processes scrap, and is made from scrap. Weapons are fashioned here under the harshest conditions, and usually, only the metal bodies of Machine digimon can handle the conditions of working here. The foreman here is Andromon, and the factory is known for making contracts with just about anyone, no matter how unscrupulous they may be. [if you wish to have a character work with the digimon here, please contact [personal profile] razorsaw to arrange something. Please do not have characters cause a scene here without persmission.]

  • Bright Casino (Neon City) – A large, popular casino deep within the heart of Neon City. While its main focus is gambling, Bright Casino is also a hotel and host to live stage shows and other forms of entertainment. The casino is owned by the rich entrepreneur NiseDrimogemon, who bought the casino from Nanomon and owns the Digi-Fuel mining rig in Goc Desert.

  • JCNC Tower (Neon City) – A large tower at the center of Neon City which serves both as the seat of government for Neon City and a media and communications hub. Both the Neon City Council and the entertainment industry are based around this place, with all sorts of other smaller departments interspersed throughout it. There is even a shopping center. There is a rumor that Nanomon uses the technology here to control information, but this is unproven.

  • Server Stadium (Neon City) – The sports arena in Neon that plays host to its local Windball Team, the Neon City Knights. Other sporting events are held here, and it can be contracted for such events or things such as musical concerts. Server Stadium also has a gym located near it run by the same management, providing exercise opportunities for both Digimon and Tamers. [if you wish to have a character contract Server Stadium for an event, please contact a moderator. The gym is free to be portrayed in RP without contacting anyone, but do not cause havoc here without getting permission from a moderator first.]

  • Neon City Memorial Park – The park at the center of the city, near JCNC tower. Memorial Park is interesting in that it is one of the few areas in Neon where natural beauty and plant life is on display, but the truth of it is, it's all highly controlled and regulated for the sake of appearance. The park also has an artificial lake that's a popular site for Aquatic digimon, and a zoo populated with animals that have been found transported to the Digital World (or Digi-Gnomes in the shape of them).

  • DATS Neon – The branch of DATS in Neon City. Its a sizable building that includes quarters and work areas, as well as a gym, for its members. It also has a large garage for the maintenance of vehicles and machine-based digimon and Tamers. DATS members frequently patrol Neon City for crime, while operators scan the network from the base for any information about disturbances.

  • Neon City Police Headquarters – The headquarters of Neon City's police force, located several miles from JCNC Tower. Fortified like a military base, it has the ability to take on a number of high level threats and criminals. However, much of the police force is corrupt, and more often than not, they will look the other way even in the event of major crimes. Its staff is made up primarily of Commandramon, Sealsdramon, MechaNorimon, and Guardromon.

  • Catacombs – A large system of tunnels located beneath the streets of Neon and Junk City. No one knows for what purpose they were originally constructed, but they go down for miles. One can easily become lost in them, and they're a favorite haven or escape route for criminals. A dangerous group of radicals who believe in the superiority of mechanical and cybernetic digimon has taken up residence in here. They call themselves the Metal Empire.

  • Primary Village – The Primary Village for Neon City, located near the residential district. It is looked after by a digimon called Kenkimon. [Please do not cause trouble in the Primary Village without mod permission. Additionally, if your character's partner was a Machine or Mutant-species or related digimon beforehand, or is going to be reborn into one, and your character has lost their egg, they will be reborn at this location.]

    Notable Neon City individuals:

  • Chaosdramon – The Area Leader of Neon City. Chaosdramon is largely unconcerned with the responsibilities his position, and attained it by defeating the previous Area Leader in a duel. He's hot headed and brash, and his negligence allows Nanomon to basically have full run of the government. He'll even stay out of a crisis if it does not personally interest him. In recent events, he was discovered to be under the control of a Tamer criminal, leading to his personality becoming much harsher and vindictive as a result.

  • Tankdramon – One of Chaosdramon's Area Generals. Though corruption has poisoned much of the Neon City police force, it has not yet touched the heart. That heart is Tankdramon, and as head of the Police Force, he is dedicated to keeping Neon City safe. Recognizing the limits of his position, he has supported DATS Neon and given them the resources and permission they need to operate within the city.

  • Nanomon – Another one of Chaosdramon's Area Generals. Unlike most Area Generals, Nanomon did not earn his title by proving his power, he did it by climbing the ladder and bribing his way to the top. As a result, he has a practically unchecked amount of power among the Neon City Council. He sees Tankdramon as a rival, and will stop at nothing to undermine him at every opportunity.

  • Andromon – The foreman of the Foundry Factory. An unscrupulous sort, he'll take any job from anybody, and not ask questions in doing so. Even his own workers are disposable to him.

  • NiseDrimogemon - A rich tycoon who owns Bright Casino and the digi-fuel refinery on Goc Desert. Known for his over-the-top "Good Ol' Boy" personality and his questionable business tactics.

  • Hellfire Gang – A powerful criminal organization in the Neon City underworld. Their numbers include Jester the Piemon, Harle the LadyDevimon, Dark Ivy the Rosemon, Fries the IceDevimon, The Penmon, Burn the DeathMeramon, The Ventriloquist and Stitchface, Frightcrow the Nohemon, and an augmented Tamer named Dr. Fangstrom.

    Sanctity

Known as the “Holy City” and the “White City”, Sanctity is comprised almost entirely of Holy Species digimon. However, despite their sharing similar qualities, they are noted to want to not have anything to do with the Virus Busters. The reason for this dates back many years.

Ages ago, Sanctity was ruled over by the Three Great Angels: Seraphimon, Ofanimon, and Cherubimon. Eventually, they were entrusted with the tags of Darkness and Holy-species digimon, with Seraphimon in particular holding onto the Darkness tag. Day by day, the tag influenced him more and more, though he never showed signs of becoming unjust. This did not stop from two of the Angels' disciples, Goddramon and Holydramon, from coming to fear Seraphimon, and so, they betrayed him to the Virus Busters. Ofanimon and Cherubimon were slain defending him, and Seraphimon was driven into exile, eventually becoming the Area Leader of Sanctity, having transformed into Murmuxmon. Later, Goddramon and Holydramon succeeded them as rulers, and cut off ties with Omegamon to hide their guilt. Many years later, their crime was exposed, and they were imprisoned by the Holy Beasts. Their subordinates, HolyAngemon and Angewomon, were promoted in their place, becoming ClavisAngemon and Valkyriemon, and rule justly, hoping to avoid the mistakes of their predecessors.

Culturally, the digimon of Sanctity are a pious and reverent group with a strong sense of justice. They welcome all to their city, and though they have a tendency to come off as sanctimonious, they are not even nearly as intolerant of others as the Virus Busters. Even Darkness-species digimon can live here freely, though they are rather uncommon. Sanctity stresses beauty without excess, and has contributed a great deal to the arts, including poetry, song, literature, and sculpture. Their buildings resemble a mix of Mediterranean and French architecture.

Sanctity is also the location of the current headquarters of DATS. It is also the site of a Primary Village, which is looked after by a digimon called Nefertimon. [Please do not cause trouble in the Primary Village without mod permission. Additionally, if your character's partner was a Holy-species or related digimon beforehand, or is going to be reborn into one, and your character has lost their egg, they will be reborn at this location.]

Digimon you might meet here: Patamon, Plotmon, Tailmon, Angemon, Pidmon, Puttimon, Piccolomon, Kudamon, Leppamon, Silphymon, Nefertimon, Pegasmon, Unimon, Angewomon, Centarumon, Sagittarimon, Seahomon, Coatlmon, and any Holy-species digimon up to the Perfect level. A small number of digimon of other types are present as well.

    Albion (p.”al-bee-yon”)

A land out of time, literally. Albion was an area founded at a time when the current Digital World was still young, and was left hidden and frozen in stasis until modern times. The reason for this appears to be the fact that they were waiting for the return of one of the Royal Knights – an event which came about when Dukemon was reborn through the power of the X-Antibody. Now, the digimon living there are free to continue living their lives – albeit, with some confusion, as their technology and culture is rather primitive compared to some of their neighbors.

Albion resembles Medieval Europe in terms of culture and technology level, with some similarities to fantasy set in the time period as well. Settlements are ruled over by lords who own much of the land, with the townspeople serving as serfs that work for them. The capital of Albion is the Castle of the Thirteen Warriors, which serves as Dukemon's seat of government, and all lords answer to him. There is also much of Albion that is covered in wilderness.

Digimon you might meet here: Goblimon, Ogremon, V-mon, XV-mon, Gladimon, Fangmon, Knightmon, Unimon, ShimaUnimon. Numerous other species are likely, with no overtly dominant type, but particularly those based upon European myth and legend – particularly those that have the Mythical Beast Type classification.

    Axoryi (p. “axe-or-yee”)

Axoryi is a floating, artificial island situated on the waters off the northern coast of Verdandi. It is comparable in size to Tetha, and is just as stable, despite its placement atop the waves. This is due to the complex “pillar anchor” system that stretches from the base of the island to the very bottom of the Net Ocean floor. This has the added benefit of keeping Axoryi itself from being tossed out amongst the waves, as well as giving aquatic digimon and whomever can plunge into these depths a haven in which to hide. [note: the pillar anchors of Axoryi are important to the city's survival and cannot be attacked without permission from a mod.]

Much like Neon/Junk, Axoryi is a city that is divided into extremes. One part of the city is like what one might have expected Atlantis to be like, with gleaming-white buildings and open waterways like the kind one would find in Venice, Italy, in addition to streets. However, the outer edge of the city including the docks, forming a ring around the interior, looks more like an old colonial port town. However, unlike Neon/Junk, this is not due to any disparity between the residents; both parts of Axoryi are equally well off.

However, while the inner city is relatively peaceful, one must be wary in the docks. Not only is it the hub of much non-Lightpost-based shipment in the Digital World, it is a haven for pirates. For, you see, in Axoryi, piracy is not only legal, it's encouraged, with the noted pirates being celebrated heroes. The one limit on them is that they cannot prey upon cargo ships that have reached a minimum safe distance from Axoryi's shores. In order to become a legally recognized pirate, one must receive a Letter of Marque from Vikemon, Axoryi's Area Leader. [If you wish to have a character attempt to do so, please contact [personal profile] razorsaw by way of message or other venue].

Axoryi is the site of a Primary Village, and it is looked after by a digimon called Seahomon. [Please do not cause trouble in the Primary Village without mod permission. Additionally, if your character's partner was a Aquatic-species or related digimon beforehand, or is going to be reborn into one, and your character has lost their egg, they will be reborn at this location.]

Digimon you might meet here: Gomamon, Swimmon, Penmon, Ganimon, Rukamon, Depthmon, Ikkakumon, Orcamon, Shakomon, Gesomon, Zudomon, Hangyomon, Hookmon, Octomon, and any Aquatic-species digimon or member of the Deep Savers family up to the Perfect level. It also has a mix of digimon from other families as well, though they are less numerous.

    Asuka (p. “aws-kuh”)

Asuka is an Area that consists of a series of islands off the southern coast of Verdandi. In terms of culture, Asuka highly resembles feudal Japan, with regional lords and nobility in charge ofsmaller territories. Like Albion and D'Ango, much of its society is rustic, but it is considerably more technologically advanced than the former. Asuka is a favorite place for those who enjoy eastern culture, and is generally welcoming to outsiders.

It wasn't always as such, however. For many years, Asuka was embroiled in a violent civil war that left it cut off from most of the Digital World. The civil war, between the forces of the land's area leader, Susanoomon, and the rebel Orochimon, lasted for numerous years until Orochimon's forces were devastated and the would-be usurper was driven into hiding. Since then, Asuka has reopened its ports and borders and rejoined the global community, but some scars still marr the land and its people. There is also speculation that Orochimon was not the true mastermind behind the war, and that someone else was guiding him from behind the scenes.

For now though, the people of Asuka are generally happy to enjoy a new era of peace and prosperity. Additionally, Asuka has taken in a number of refugees from the devastated Draco Island, and installed its Primary Village within its territory. This Primary village is watched over by a digimon called Maiasaurmon. [Please do not cause trouble in the Primary Village without mod permission. Additionally, if your character's partner was a Dragon-species or related digimon beforehand, or is going to be reborn into one, and your character has lost their egg, they will be reborn at this location.]

Digimon you might meet here: Kotemon, Hyokomon, Dracomon, Ryuudamon, V-mon, Guilmon, Gumdramon, Buraimon, Mushamon, Shurimon, Peckmon, V-dramon, Growmon, Taomon, Doumon, and any eastern-themed or Dragon or Dinosaur-species digimon up to the Perfect level. There are also a fair number of digimon of all sorts of varieties to be found here as well.

    Putrid Ruins

To the east of Sanctity lies the Putrid Ruins, a vast swamp filled with the decaying, foul-smelling, submerged ruins of an ancient civilization. Many people have wondered what caused this place to fall into ruin. Was it a disaster? The explanation is far more bizarre than that.

Simply put, the entire place literally “went to shit.” The occupants of the Putrid Ruins eventually descended into laziness and opulence, and their excess eventually caused much of their population to become what are known as “error evolutions.” Simply put, “error evolutions” occur when a digimon leads a life so degenerate that they become a weaker creature upon evolving, which is usually a member of the Numemon or Sukamon family. In other words, the digimon of the Putrid Ruins didn't go anywhere, its just they and their territory degenerated into the form they exist in today.

That said, they are some of the warmest and friendliest digimon one might ever meet, and they either don't know or don't care about how disgusting the rest of the Digital World finds them. This hasn't stopped powerful digimon from coming here and using the submerged ruins as lairs or bases, meaning one can still stumble into powerful threats even here. There are also a number of lost relics here, making it a favorite for treasure hunters – those who can mind the smell, anyway. Just one thing – don't drink the water. No, we're serious. Don't.

There used to be a Primary Village here, but it was absorbed into the one in Neon after too many of the Baby digimon became ill from the noxious gas and raw sewage.

Digimon you might meet here: Numemon, Geremon, KaratsukiNumemon, Shellmon, Vegiemon, Zassoumon, Nanimon, BlackKingNumemon, Garbamon, Otamamon, Gekomon, and many amphibian, reptile, insect, or mollusk-type digimon up to the Perfect level. Members of the Unknown family are also common.

    Other Areas

    Meria(p. “mayr-ee-yuh”)

An island said to be “at the top of the Digital World”, in a location that is directly analogous to the Arctic Circle of Earth. Meria is a perpetual tundra covered in ice all year round. In truth, the term “Meria” applies to both the city and the island itself, with the former being surrounded by ice fields on all sides. The city itself is located at the base of a mountain which serves as a popular ski resort, and is a rustic town rather similar to popular depictions of the mythical “christmas town.” The Area Leader of Meria is DaiPenmon, a celebrity in the Digital World who is known to give away gifts during the time of the Winter Festival in December – a custom that overlaps with the Earth holiday of Christmas.

The ice fields outside of the city are desolate, inhabited only by wild digimon that have lost their instincts, herds of nomadic Moosemon, Mammon, and Sheepmon, and raiders consisting of Mojamon, SnowGoblimon, and Hyougamon that prey upon travellers. For miles and miles, all that can be seen is snow and more snow, and it is quite easy to get lost in this part of Meria.

Digimon you might meet here: YukiAgumon, YukimiBotamon, Yukidarumon, Penmon, SnowGoblimon, Hyougamon, Ikkakumon, Mojamon, Garurumon, Moosemon, Sheepmon, Mammon, and any digimon of the Deep Savers family, any digimon with an ice motif, or any digimon that looks as though it has the ability to survive in cold weather.

    Carnival Island

Another floating island like Tetha; however, Carnival Island remains aloft purely through mechanical conveyance. The entire island is a massive flying amusement park, self-touted as “the most wonderful place in the Digital World. Admission is relatively affordable, and it remains a popular location for vacations, dates, and all manner of social gatherings. Virtually any kind of ride or carnival game you can imagine can be found in Carnival Island, along with fun houses, live performances, and all manner of other events. The Area Leader here is Piemon, a whimsical digimon who is quite eager to please his guests and who personally ensures Carnival Island is free of major conflict. [if you wish to have a character contract Carnival Island for an event, please contact a moderator. Other than that, Carnival Island is open to be played in whatever capacity one desires in accordance with the rules.]

Digimon you might meet here: Impmon, Opossumon, Puttimon, Monzaemon, WaruMonzaemon, Pumpmon, Dogmon

    Virus Busters Territory

A large island to the North of Urd and to the south of Meria. It is covered in a large, military city populated entirely by Virus Busters and guarded heavily from outsiders. The Digimon here are all digimon species who identify with “righteousness” and holiness, and look down on most other species as beneath them. This includes all demon-like digimon, whom the Virus Busters flat out loathe and seek to exterminate. They have been locked in a centuries long war of attrition with the Dark Area, and recently, during the “Chaosmon event”, have succeeded in occupying and taking a majority of their territory. As for their own land, the city within is surrounded by a massive wall and barred from all outsiders.

The leader of the Virus Busters is the former Royal Knight Omegamon. His lieutenants are Grademon and Mystimon.

[note – the interior city of the Virus Busters Territory is a “no man's land”, and not open for rping except for rare or plot-related reasons. You can, however, have a character appear on the shores surrounding the city, but be warned: they won't get far and are likely to be set upon by patrols]

Digimon that are known to live here: Gladimon, Knightmon, Angemon, Pidmon, and other Holy-species digimon.

    Chess Kingdom

The Chess Kingdom is a bizarre place that was, until recently, connected directly to the same island as the Virus Busters territory. Then, for reasons that no one can determine, it was split off from it and transported numerous miles away from it. The Chess Kingdom is populated primarily by digimon of the “Chessmon” category, who are ruled over by KingChessmon and QueenChessmon, who are husband and wife. You wouldn't be able to tell if you didn't already know that fact however, because the pair are always fighting, sending out soldiers of their respective colors out to fight battles for them. These battles are complicated and mostly non-violent, and conducted completely without words – mostly, because most Chessmon do not in fact speak. Furthermore, the landscape of the Chess Kingdom is all alternating shades of black, white, and grey, resembling the patchwork pattern of a chessboard. There are towns here, and they're populated by more Chessmon along with digimon who are also colored black and white. The non-Chessmon seem to take their neighbors' antics in stride, and are generally extremely friendly and welcoming to outsiders.

Digimon you might meet here: PawnChessmon, KnightChessmon, RookChessmon, and BishopChessmon of both colors, Tailmon, BlackTailmon, YukiAgumon, BlackAgumon, Gladimon, and SkullKnightmon.

    Terminal

Terminal is the fourth and smallest continent, located between Skuld, Urd, and Verdandi at the equatorial center of the Digital World. No one has ever set foot on this island, due to the fact that that it is covered by an impenetrable barrier generated from four points on the island's surface that can keep even the strongest digimon from getting through it. The barrier itself is golden, giving Terminal the nickname of “the Golden land.”

What is known, is that Terminal is the location of Yggdrasil, and that the barrier serves to protect it from those that wish to attack it. Huanlongmon personally watches over Yggdrasil, while the other four Holy Beasts, Quinlongmon, Zhuqiaomon, Xuanwumon, and Baihumon stand guard at the four points generating the shield. These locations are called the Seiryuu Gate, the Suzaku Gate, the Genbu Gate, and the the Byakko Gate respectively.

[note – Terminal is a “no man's land” as far as roleplaying goes, and exists at this point purely for plot related reasons. Your character cannot arrive at or go there for any reason.]

    Witchelny

Witchelny does not exist. Stop asking about it. It's certainly not presided over by a guy called MedievalDukemon, and inhabited by digimon who know the sorcery code language of the digital world. And it CERTAINLY has nothing to do with staying in contact with Yggdrasil itself. Nope. None of that goes on there, because Witchelny doesn't exist.

    - Sorcermon and Wizardmon

[note – Witchelny is a “no man's land” as far as roleplaying goes, and travel to it is heavily moderated and only occurs for plot related reasons. Your character cannot arrive or go there without assistance from a mod-controlled npc.]
