CHARACTER ADDENDUM

digitaldivemodsA Character Addendum is, simply, a policy that will allow people to get new abilities that they may be able to gain through various circumstances or character interactions, or powers that have appeared in canon after the point someone set their application, by running it by us first. However, these come with some stipulations.
One Character Addendum per character: You may only do this once per character.
It is recommended you apply BEFORE you set events in motion: If you set your character down the path to gaining these new abilities and it is NOT approved, then you must deal with those ramifications in-game yourself. If you have a plan to set something like this up, we recommend you apply for the addendum first.
This is for SIGNIFICANT changes to your character's abilities: Aspects such as learning how to better control the power of Digi-Soul, or clear indications of learning basic fighting skills and self defense need not apply for this. Aspects such as that are considered natural character progression. Such things need not come out of the blue, either, and there must be a prior indicator to it, so if you are not sure if something applies to an Addendum or just natural character progression, simply Ask a Moderator.
Here is the format for the Character Addendum:
Player: Just your name, or your personal journal, is fine.
Character Name, Canon, and Journal: Self explanatory, but we would like to know who you're talking about. ;)
Original Application: Please give us a link to your character's original application, so we can compare and contrast against it.
Method of Recieving Powers/Person Responsible: Explain how this person will gain their new abilities, and if applicable, who they got them from.
New Abilities: Describe the new abilities they may have received. We will compare these against the original abilities, but if they significantly change those in any way, please also note how.
Note that depending on what they gained or lost, this could potentially change their Tamer Class. If deemed as such, we may ask you to fill out a Tamer Class Change Request. If you already have an idea of this causing a change in your Tamer's Class, fill free to go ahead and fill one out.
