FAN-MADE DIGIMON

Note: This post is written from an in-character perspective. The statements and... commentary of The Prof are simply in the interest of good fun. This isn't a serious topic, so we thought we'd have a little bit of fun in bringing this service to you. :-)

Hello, everyone. I am Professor Agumon - otherwise known as "The Prof." Yes. Years and years of research and contributions to scientific theory, and most of my friends can't be bothered to use my full title. It's very charming.
Wait, where was I? Oh yes. Well, I'm stepping out from behind the fourth wall to talk to you about something called Fan Made Digimon, or FMDs. (No, I don't understand why everything must be an acronym either) Simply put, they are an instance where fans act like they know better than those trained monkeys at Bandai, and-
Hrmph. Excuse me. I believe I'm going a bit off script. You see, we here at Digital Dive acknowledge that sometimes, canon may not have what you're looking for in a particular digimon. Since finding the right match can sometimes be difficult, we're here to help you with that. (Am I actually saying this? Oh lord...) In other worlds, we allow the creation of "FMDs" to help you fill in the so-called blanks.
Ow! Erm, disregard that "so-called" in my previous sentence...
That said, this post doesn't exist simply to tell you that you can make your own super special awesome fan creation (ow) and get them into the game. You see, we'll also be submitting digimon regularly and taking requests from people who may or may not need help creating something. So, if you perhaps don't think there's a digimon who matches the character you want to apply for, or simply can't see Triceramon evolving into a giant egg with claws, just drop us a request and we'll see if we can't tailor something to your liking. You can also share your own creations with the Digital World as well.
However, there are some exceptions. One: We can't help you come up with Digi-Xroses if you're applying for a Xros Tamer. Sorry, but due to the nature of that character class, we need players to show they're capable of coming up with such things on their own.
The next is for setting and story telling reasons: We can't allow the creation of new Hybrid digimon, beyond the special Advance and Zeta Hybrids that have already been created for the game. The reason for this is that, well, Spirits simply don't work that way, and since canon is incomplete on this, and not likely to fill these blanks in any time soon, we've already gone ahead and done that ourselves. You can find those digimon we've created for that purpose here as well.
Well, that's the last of material they've given me to say. You'll be hearing from me again, folks, so please enjoy what we have to offer, and don't hesitate to be creative.
Ugh. I need a stiff drink after all that. Blah blah blah, "original character don't steal..."
Note: The template for submissions and requests is not yet up. That will come in the next few days. For now, we wanted to show everyone their options for the Dive-original Advance Hybrids.
