DIGIMON TAMER CLASS SYTEM

Introducing the Tamer Class System!

Since Digital Dive's inception, the evolution & battle system for your Digimon partners has been limited to one based off of Digimon Savers. No longer will this be the case - from now on, you will have the option of applying or changing your character's "Tamer Class" to archetypes based on Digimon Frontier, Digimon Tamers, and the newest series, Digimon Xros Wars.

Below are brief explanations of each Class. Click on any one for more detailed explanations!

[SOUL TAMER]	[MATRIX TAMER]
Use your Digi-Soul to empower your Digimon and fight alongside them! Recommended For: New players, veteran players, super powered fighters, and just about anyone!	Utilize Option Cards to empower and evolve your Digimon! At Ultimate, Tamer & Digimon unite as one! Recommended For: New players, veteran players, non-combatant characters, and characters with no, or limited, powers.
[SPIRIT TAMER]	[XROS TAMER]
Utilize the power of Legendary Spirits to transform into Digimon and fight yourself! Recommended For: Veteran Players, characters who have no battle abilities of their own and would not work well alongside a digimon partner.	Command a group of Digimon, and unite them with the power of Digi-Xros! Recommended For: Veteran players, those well versed on Digimon in general, and characters who excel at strategy.

Each Class will receive their own Digivice, which will replace the previously used D-Reader. The functions of that have been rolled into the new D-Comm.

You can choose your Tamer Class at the time of application, or use the Tamer Class Change Request form at a later time once your character is in the game. Do note, however, that if you are considering a Spirit Tamer, it is going to be much harder to apply your character for one after the fact, given you will have a Digimon Partner to take care at that point.

We reserve the right to deny a Class Change Request if it is deemed ill-befitting the character. Likewise, if a Tamer Class does not fit a character on a normal Application, we will suggest a different one, but will not count it as a strike against the app.

If you're uncertain of your choice when applying for a character, or not well versed on the particulars of Digimon as a series or its archetypes? No worries!

Feel free to Ask a Moderator! Or, when in doubt, we recommend Soul Tamer as the default option. It's the easiest to manage, and its what the game utilized primarily for the first four years of its life.

Lastly, if you're just applying for a Digimon itself, with no Tamer, from the Digital Dive Universe, that remains relatively unchanged from what it was in the past.
